Independence Toes


Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day from the top of my head to the tips of my toes! I have Monday off but you can join me later in the week. Here’s where I’ll be!


9:30 a.m. Classic Yoga at Community Yoga

7:15 p.m. Restorative Yoga at Community Yoga


5:45 p.m. Classic Yoga at Community Yoga

7:15 p.m. Yoga for Better Balance at Yoga Balance (Morton Community Center): This is the start of a new session. This class isn’t about doing crazy balance poses where we get all pretzel-y (not that there’s anything wrong with that); rather it focuses on the factors that contribute to why we find balance poses easy or challenging. We’ll work on laying the foundations to make balance easier both on and off the mat. This is a 4-week course.


12 p.m. Slow Flow Vinyasa at Yoga Balance (Morton Community Center). Another new session.


10 a.m. All-Levels Hatha at Yoga Balance (Morton Community Center)


10:30 a.m. Yoga Basics at Community Yoga: This is a 4-week series where we explore some of the most common yoga asanas (poses). This is great for beginners or experienced practitioners who want a refresher. Drop in for one or all four classes. This week we’ll explore the poses that make up sun salutations.
